2007 World Series Champions!

When the Sox won the 2004 Series it was one of the most exciting times of our lives because the eighty-something year old Curse of the Bambino had been broken AND we were expecting our second child, beautiful Z.  I never would have imagined the Red Sox would win another World Series, let alone win it while we’re expecting again.  Tom Werner put it  best when he said, “2004 was for our parents and grandparents and those people who suffered through eight decades before a world championship.  This is for us and for our children and for everybody in Red Sox Nation that we can do it again.”

It seems to me this might very well effect the naming of our babies!

  1. Congrats on the big win!
Call me sentimental, but Varitek sounds nice for baby A and Papelbon for baby B.

  2. Sure, Dice K

  3. Congrats on the win. I watched the series in your honor. It was pretty exciting!

Please don’t name one of your kids Daisuke. People will never get it right.

  4. Congratulations..

Two Japanese rookie pitchers, Matsuzaka and Okajima helped Red Sox win the World Series.

Without them, it would not win the World Series titles.

    Don’t you agree?

  5. I give credit to everyone who played now that the deal is done. Even Gagne. Go Red Sox!
