I cringed trying to watch the way a woman used… a meat hook, a whisk, and among other items, a plastic ketchup container that appeared to be from Costco (she didn’t use them all at once, thank Goddess).

OK first off, who the hell wants to be a senator!!!! Yuck. I wonder who said that? Obviously, I am related to them. Second, you should be thankful because Portland is special. I constantly tell Laurent if we had a child and walked around Portland no one would bat and eyelash.

I recently finished a first draft of this play and it does not even remotely resemble the nice proposal I wrote way back when. It’s become a play about unplanned pregnancy and the toll it takes on a family. It could morph back to its open adoption origins as it develops, but for now it’s something entirely different.

A few years ago, I seriously contemplated riding the Green Tortoise bus to Burning Man. Upon further research…uhmm, no. I could smell the people through the photos.
not for me. But you, you are going to Burning Man. Part of me is so happy and excited for you the other part wants to make sure you are packed properly. (I will refrain)
Just please tell me you will take several 5 gallon jugs of water.
Oh my gawd Shannon, this is huge. You will be a changed woman. And bless the husband who is secure enough to support your decision to embark on this journey by yourself.

Shannon you still impress me … Simply amazing. My cousin, after 10 yrs of infertility, decided on adoption, the stonewalls, heartaches and red tape led her to china and to her two children. One of the most basic reasons, was her fear of open adoption. Your play will be amazing.
